Winter is usually my least creative time of year and I normally don’t do much to inspire myself to keep taking photos during the freezing months… but this year I wanted to play with my new camera and I didn’t want to wait for spring.  So, in the beginning of February, I daydreamed up a little wedding photo shoot inspired by the Beauty and the Beast movie. On top of just having fun, I’ve been wanting to work with local vendors for a while and I saw this as my opportunity to start! I can’t believe how it turned out! It was such a blessing to get to work with the local people I contacted and the creativity they brought to the session still blows me away. On top of that, Marissa and Garrett didn’t really know what they were getting themselves into, but they are such amazing friends and they rocked the role of “models”. Also, the day ended up being super sunny and warm which is crazy odd for Michigan in the winter!
