Words can never describe her influence on me or the immense privilege it is to be her daughter. She is beautiful and kind, she feels deeply, thinks intelligently, loves fully, and serves endlessly. It seems prescribed to write these things on a day like today… and I wish that weren’t the case because my mom is truly my hero and she deserves so much more than a paragraph of recognition. I think the most inspiring thing about my mom is that through heartbreaks, pains and broken dreams she clings to Jesus with her whole heart. She takes joy and sorrow in the same hand and her deep rooted joy is in her salvation. I’m so thankful to be her daughter and friend… her example is more of a blessing than I’ll ever be able to say.

And now, in light of tradition… Mother’s Day photo shoot outtakes. They scammed me this year by NOT doing their sneaky silly face photo (and I thought I’d finally catch them at their game). How wrong I was. Ugh I love them.
