Bruce and Savannah’s wedding was magical! There is something so sweet about a backyard wedding. The anticipation builds throughout the day as the house gets more and more busy and I love watching the bride periodically peek out the window at the tables being set up. It is extra special when the bride is a dear friend. I’ve been friends with Savannah since we were in youth group together and it was an honor and a joy to be able to photograph her wedding.
Once Savannah was all dressed and ready, she walked through the backyard to see her groom. Their first look by the pond was crazy adorable… Bruce couldn’t stop grinning from there on out. We were able to drive three minutes away to a dreamy greenhouse for some portraits and it was all just so perfect! My very favorite part of the day was the confetti exit. After the golden sunset photos, I recruited some help and we set up for the exit. It took just a few minutes to get everything in place and it ended up being more epic than I could have dreamed!! I’m so thankful that Bruce and Savannah trusted me and that all the guests got on board with the plan 🙂
Also, a huge thank you to Colette Harmon (Bracken and Bloom) who not only created the beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres but who also stepped up to second shoot with me for the day! Here are my top favorite images from Bruce and Savannah’s special day.
