One of my goals while I was in New Mexico was to do a couples session. Xav and took a ton of walks and the scenery was so breathtaking that I kept dreaming about shooting in it! Finally, I decided to see if I could find a couple on Instagram and I ran across Katie and Tyler! One of Katie’s posts had a photo of her in this amazing dress with the caption ” Currently looking for any excuse to wear this dress 👗 again 😍 “… I reached out to see if she’d be interested in wearing the dress again for a photo shoot and she said yes!! I picked a location near the Rio Grande because we had spent some time around it and I knew the light would be gorgeous.

Right before our session, a huge thunderstorm broke out over the Sandia Mountains. We kept the session scheduled anyway and the storm ended up blowing away from us! Katie showed up slaying in her amazing dress *and heels* and Tyler arrived rocking his classy look on a 98 degree night. I still can’t believe how epic this couple is! Not only are they up for anything, but Katie and Ty are absolutely adorable together and I will forever be thankful for the opportunity they gave me to shoot in New Mexico! Ty was the best at getting Katie to laugh and her laugh is pure gold. I’ve been so excited to share these images!! The desert light was so different and I loved every second of it.
