Xavier and I got to capture some epic dance parties this year! During wedding receptions, we get to take a step back and photograph our couples having a blast with their friends and family. Here are some of the best moves we saw in 2019!
A sure sign of a good wedding reception is when the bride and groom join their friends on the dance floor and just have fun! Ben and Megan’s reception was a blast! They had created a fairy-tale setting with string lights and everyone was laughing and clapping and being hysterical.
Afton and Lucas had a wedding reception full of children! They loved dancing and the energy on the dance floor was electric! My favorite moment was when the kids started a dance train around the reception hall and everyone jumped on board.
Bruce and Savannah designated a huge space for their dance party and it filled up! I knew they were serious about dancing when Bruce took his shoes off before the dancing even started!
Evan and Erin’s elegant tent reception was popping all night long!! All of their friends were super excited and when they picked up Evan on their shoulders, Erin couldn’t stop laughing! It was such a fun moment!
