While we like to focus more on candid moments and emotions on a wedding day, Xav and I always try to take a few minutes to capture some of the special details as well. The wedding rings are always a highlight of the detail shots because of the significance of what they mean. So many couples seal their vows with this symbol and it is so fun to see how the personalities of our couples come out in their rings.
Billy and Nicole’s wedding was the kick off of our spring in 2019. It was absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorite parts of the day was getting to shoot details at Nicole’s parent’s home where the girls were getting ready. Nicole’s ring was absolutely stunning and it paired beautifully with Billy’s.
Sierra is also a photographer and when she asked me to shoot her wedding I was so excited! She was so incredibly sweet to me during the whole planning process and she kept me in the loop with all of her detail plans and wedding updates. One of the first photos she sent me of her plan was a picture of the engagement ring Toby got her. It definitely was the star of the show for all of their detail pictures!
Ryan and Taylor’s backyard wedding was such a beautiful day! Everything was so *them* and I especially loved how classic, timeless, and elegant their rings were. Xav captured this shot and I found it later while editing. To this day it is one of my all time favorite ring shots!
