In the last month, Felix has gone from 4 to 8 teeth, from crawling to standing up, and from being a baby to thinking he is a big boy. This boy doesn’t have time for monthly photos anymore… he has places to go! I feel like he is changing so fast I can almost see it happening in front of me. He is on the cusp of so many huge milestones and I am trying to soak it all up as fully as possible. I’m constantly thankful that I get to be a stay at home mom with Lex. It is a massive gift Xav is giving us that I never want to take for granted!
While I wouldn’t mind a little more caution on Felix’s part, I do love watching him crash-bash around the play room. He loves his climbing blocks and his ball pit and he has started actually playing with toys like his dinosaurs, cars, musical instruments, and balls. He thinks it is hilarious to roll the volleyball back and forth, which of course means that we think it is hilarious also!
This month we hung out with some dear friends and Felix got to go on another trip, this time to Port Huron. It was fun to spend a few days with the Brumwell side walking around the city where Xavier was born. We also got to show Felix what Canada looks like from this side of the river! Xav and I ran the CRIM and all of our training paid off as we ran much faster without the stroller than we ever did in training with it (go figure). Felix got to hang out with his Grandma and Great-Grandma while we ran 🙂 It was a big month for our big guy! Only one more month of dino mat photos!
