A Joyful Family Celebration | Will + Erin’s Wedding at Rosemal Barn

After capturing my sister’s wedding last summer, you’d think that having a sibling get married wouldn’t be too emotional for me… but for whatever reason, watching William get married was so sentimental and sweet and emotionallllllllll. Maybe it was watching my little Felix strut up the aisle as the “ring bearer” and remembering Will at that age. Maybe it was thinking about meeting Erin a decade ago when I was her camp counselor and how incredible it is to see the woman of God she has become. Maybe it was being surrounded by our family and friends again and feeling the overwhelming love and support they have for Will and Erin. Or perhaps it was all of it along with the realization that William went from the little boy in the NICU – to the man at the end of the aisle waiting for his bride, in a blink. I love seeing how giddy Will and Erin are together and how much they work together and have each other’s back. While we deeply missed so many of our family members who couldn’t attend, the wedding was a true celebration of what it means to see people act like a family. Everyone that came, loved on Will and Erin abundantly and so many friends and family gathered to help make the day full and beautiful! Erin, her sisters, and her bridesmaids did an incredible job with decorating and incorporating elements of rustic, romantic charm into the details. My dad and his team did a fantastic job with the lighting and sound to make the dance floor come alive. And Preston jumped in to second shoot during the reception when Xav had to bring a tired ring bearer home! It filled my heart to see everything come together and see everyone using their gifts to love on Will and Erin. The day was warm and beautiful with the puffiest clouds in the sky and I’m so happy for the newly minted CALHOUNS! Still crazy to me that there is another Mrs. Calhoun now!
