I met Erin ten years ago when I was her camp counselor (yes, the same camp where I met Xavier and where my sister met her husband) so when my brother Will started talking about dating her, I was super excited! Erin has jumped right into our family with goofiness, volleyball skills, and a heart for Christ. Will and Erin got engaged in Florida this spring, but decided to do winter engagement photos in Michigan when they got back. When I look through Will and Erin’s engagement photos, my heart feels cozy… but the day we took pictures was anything except cozy! It was incredibly windy and right when we got out of the car to start the session, my phone said “feels like 2 degrees”. Luckily it started snowing like we were in a Hallmark movie and made us halfway forget that we were frozen. I feel like these pictures beg me to write a Hallmark movie title for their engagement photos… maybe something like “Frosty Trails to Love: A Cowboy’s Winter Romance”. Haha I love my fam and I’m super excited to gain another sister this summer!

I did get to take a few actually cozy photos of them in their favorite clothes (aka sweatpants) since I begged them to not wear sweatpants to their session 😉
